Mr. Laxman Jnawali (HOD, English)
Laxman Jnawali joined the National School of Sciences(NSS) in 2012 as a full-time English teacher and has been serving as a Head of the English Department since 2020 AD. He is a senior teacher who has been involved in teaching for more than sixteen years. Previously, he was a faculty member at National Integrated School (NIC), Dillibazar; Learning Realm International School (LRI), Kalanki; and Nepalaya College, Kalanki.
Jnawali earned his M.Phil. (in English) from Tribhuvan University in 2010 AD. He works collaboratively with his colleagues and provides overall strategies, direction, and leadership for the Department and oversight of its research, teaching, and outreach endeavors. He also serves on the editorial boards of “Explorer” and other college magazines published by the school. He is also the author of the book Boost Your English, a resource grammar book. He is an enthusiastic educator teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in English and is dedicated to student mentoring and counseling. He always advocates academic Excellence
